UA 2.1, 2.2 & 2.3 Combined

Intensive, academic and practical. This combined course is held in both classroom and woodland, teaching you all the skills you need to become fully operational as a Utility Arb professional. The training is held over 2 days, and includes all the course information in units 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3, outlined in the bullet points below. Pre requisites: CS30,31,38,39,40, and UA 1

 

  • Identify tree species
  • Identify growth characteristics
  • Identify hazardous trees and branches
  • Prune trees safely from the ground in proximity to overhead power lines
  • Aerial pruning techniques

 

UA 2.1, 2.2 & 2.3 Combined Assessments

Following the 2-day training course, there is a full day assessment. If you are interested in an assessment only option, please contact one of our instructors who will be able to give you more information.

 

UA 2.3 Recertification Training

Upon passing the assessments, your certificate will be valid for 3 years. To remain qualified, it is essential that recertification to the highest level held is taken every three years. Recertification for UA 2.3 includes a day of training to brush up on skills followed by a 1-day recertification assessment.
