UA 302, 303, 304, 305 Combined

Intensive, academic and practical. This combined course is held in both classroom and woodland, teaching you all the skills you need to become fully operational as a Utility Arb professional. The training is held over 3 days, and includes all the course information outlined in the bullet points below. For more detailed course information, please refer to the relevant individual course pages.

Pre requisites: CS30,31,38,39,40, and UA 1

• Identify tree species
• Identify growth characteristics
• Identify hazardous trees and branches
• Prune trees safely from the ground in proximity to overhead power lines
• Aerial pruning techniques
• Assisted tree felling
