About us

Red Stag Training is founded on the belief that Training and Assessments should be an enjoyable experience.

We believe that people only achieve their full potential if operating in an environment that they are comfortable in, being instructed or assessed by people that will go the extra mile to put them at ease and create a relaxed and positive learning atmosphere.

As a team of experienced professionals, we take great care in selecting the sites that are used for the courses and assessments we run. If we cannot source a site that truly meets our exact requirements, it will not be chosen for the course.

Our training ethos: the assessment criteria = the starting point

All of our instructors are experts in their respective fields and as a result deliver training that far exceeds the required standard to pass the assessment. This means that you will be more than prepared when it comes time for assessment.

We know what you need, in what order it must be achieved, and the best way to structure your learning journey.

We do whatever we can to deliver the training or assessment at a time or location that causes minimum disruption to business and is of maximum benefit to everyone on the course. We are happy to put together bespoke suites of training for individuals or companies and fully understand the qualifications required to work the different sectors of the industry whether it be Domestic arboriculture, Forestry or Utility Arboriculture.

Support doesn’t end when the course finishes. We go the extra mile to make sure you pass the assessments.

If you have questions or queries about anything covered in the course in the run up to your assessment we are happy to hear them. Our aim is to do everything we can to assist you, so you enter the assessment with the knowledge you need, and feel fully equipped to deliver what’s required of you in as relaxed and confident manner as possible.

Red Stag Training is a company run by Rik Fox, Kevin Muttitt and Bek Rose.

Between us we have the knowledge and experience of over 50 years in the industry, which brings a very hands-on, practical, and knowledgeable approach to Arboriculture Training, Forestry Courses and Assessments.
