UA 1

Basic Electrical Knowledge and Site Safety Awareness

 

Competitively priced basic electrical awareness course providing a gateway to the utility Arboricultural industry. This course delivers a well-rounded body of learning and ensures a solid understanding of the topic underpinned by supplementary learning. The result is excellent pass rates, and confident, competent candidates.

 

Upon completion, this qualification enables the candidate to be present on live Utility Arb sites with the knowledge to keep themselves, and others safe in the event of an emergency.

 

Pre-requisites: There are no pre-requisites for the course, however, electricity companies often require a first aid certificate and evidence of manual handling training before authorisation is granted.

UA 1 Assessments

The 2-day course is followed by a half day of assessment. We do offer an assessment only option for candidates who already have the knowledge and practical ability required to be able to meet the assessment objectives.
