UA 305 (UA 2.2 part 2)

City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate of Competence in Utility Arboriculture in Assisted Tree Felling

This 1 day course is aimed at those wishing to start a fully operational career in the Utility Arb industry and covers:

    • Legislative requirements
    • Record keeping
    • Equipment selection
    • Assisted Tree Felling
    • Equipment selection and use
    • Load estimation
    • Planning the felling operation, using felling aids
    • Pulling considerations
    • Chainsaw checks
    • Using holding cuts
    • Dealing with hung up trees

Pre requisites: UA 301 CS 201 & 202 (Previously UA1, CS30&31)

Assessments

There is a 1 day assessment following completion of the course. If you are interested in an assessment only option, please get in touch as this may be possible if you have the necessary skills to be able to pass the assessment without further training.
